The Metro Vancouver Chief Power Engineers Association began holding bi-annual dinner conferences starting in 2002.  Given the game changing regulatory environment announced last year by the British Columbia Safety Authority, the Metro Vancouver Chief Power Engineers Association has seen the need to sponsor Power Connect 2011 (the 1st Annual Conference of the BC Chief Power Engineers Association).

Power Connect 2011 is a non-glitzy, plain speaking conference held in a waterfront hotel that is directly accessible by Skytrain/Seabus from the airport. The waterfront Pinnacle Hotel – At The Pier is located 2 blocks from sea bus terminal in North Vancouver.
